We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Administration professional (16-24 hours per week) who wants more than a traditional bookkeeping role. Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will become a trusted member of our team, supporting financial operations, MYOB administration, business reporting and continuous improvement across a growing professional services and technology organisation.

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and efficiency to business operations. You're looking for more than a traditional bookkeeping role and are motivated by improving processes, solving problems and contributing to business success. You enjoy finding better ways of doing things and take pride in creating accurate, reliable and well-controlled financial processes.

You have strong bookkeeping and finance administration experience and take pride in maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines and providing reliable support to stakeholders. You are comfortable working independently, building strong relationships and using technology to improve the way work gets done. Most importantly, you take ownership, look for opportunities to improve systems and enjoy being a trusted member of a growing professional services and technology business.

Key Deliverables in the First 12 Months

- Ensure Accurate and Efficient Financial Operations - Successfully manage the end-to-end bookkeeping and finance administration function, ensuring payroll, supplier invoices, client billing, accounts receivable, banking transactions and supporting documentation are processed accurately, on time and in accordance with established financial controls.




- Strengthen Client Billing and Revenue Controls - Maintain accurate client contract, rate and billing information within MYOB and supporting systems, ensuring invoices are issued correctly, billing discrepancies are proactively identified and resolved, and client revenue is protected through effective billing controls and documentation.
- Improve Cashflow Visibility and Financial Reporting - Provide reliable financial information that enables informed decision-making by maintaining accurate cashflow reporting, finance reports, KPI dashboards and operational reporting. Ensure management has visibility of debtors, contractor costs, utilisation trends and financial performance indicators.
- Enhance Financial Systems and Processes - Identify and implement practical improvements to finance workflows, record keeping, reporting processes and administrative systems that increase efficiency, improve data accuracy and reduce manual effort across the business.
- Optimise the Use of Technology and Automation - Leverage MYOB, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Copilot and other business systems to improve consistency, streamline finance processes, strengthen reporting capability and support scalable business growth.
- Establish Strong Financial Governance and Controls - Maintain robust financial administration practices by ensuring reconciliations, approvals, supporting documentation and audit trails are complete, accurate and readily available for management and external accountant review.
- Become a Trusted Operational Support Resource - Build strong working relationships across the business and become a reliable point of contact for finance and administration matters, providing proactive support to management, employees, contractors, clients and external advisors.




- Support Business Performance and Continuous Improvement - Contribute to the ongoing growth and operational effectiveness of Resolutions by identifying risks, escalating issues appropriately, solving problems proactively and continuously improving finance and administration processes.
- Demonstrate Independence and Accountability - Successfully manage recurring finance and administration responsibilities with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrated success managing bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing or finance administration processes in an SME business environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to embrace technology and automation, particularly Copilot.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team workplace.
