Due to continued growth, we have an chance for a Solicitor to join our team on a fulltime basis on site.

Duties and responsibilities of the role

- Drafting originating processes and supporting affidavit for secured mortgage recovery and related proceedings and all other end-to-end litigation.
- Disputes involving and related to secured mortgage recoveries including the preparation of default notices, short form statements of claims, forbearance deeds, deeds of assignments of debt, deeds of extension and forbearance deeds.




- Disputes involving personal property securities transactions.
- Disputes involving accounting for profit between mortgagees and mortgagors.
- Residential and commercial lease advice and disputes.
- All other general and specific litigation as may arise under the guidance of your supervisor. Receive and review instructions from clients in respect of new loan advances.
- Attend to title searches, bankruptcy searches, PPSR searches and ASIC searches in preparation of a loan file and other related searches.
- Prepare and generate specific client loan and mortgage documents and issue electronically.

What candidate are we looking for?

- 3+ years PQE
- Knowledge of multi state property laws and requirements (desirable but not mandatory)
- Strong customer service ethic and outcomes focus
- Strong Team Player
- Accuracy & attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Can prioritise work and manage clients’ expectations
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
