Vasco Investments Pty Ltd is seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our team in Deception Bay, QLD. This is a casual position offering flexibility for those looking for ongoing work. As a Casual Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic and welcoming environments for our current contract. This role is essential in ensuring our spaces meet high cleanliness standards and contribute to a positive experience for all who use them.
What you'll be doing
Performing general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting of all designated areas
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens and other wet areas to maintain hygiene standards
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting when stock levels are low
Operating cleaning equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Following cleaning schedules and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning
Maintaining a skilled appearance and attitude at all times
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in commercial or factory settings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items safely
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and proper safety procedures
Valid Australian driver's licence (preferred)
Valid rights to work in Australia
