Facilities Maintenance and Contractor Management

Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities across all facilities, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and sites remain operational.

Manage relationships with trades, contractors and service providers, including electricians, builders, certifiers, architects, cleaners, security providers and specialist technicians

Facilities Projects, Site Planning and Building Improvements

Support facilities projects including site expansions, relocations, office moves, workspace reconfigurations and production area changes.

Assist with identifying and assessing new facilities, conducting site inspections and gathering information for business approval.

Compliance, Audits and Safety Coordination

Coordinate facilities-related compliance activities to ensure buildings, equipment and infrastructure remain compliant and fit for purpose.

Manage scheduled compliance requirements including test and tag programs, pallet racking certifications, load testing and other facilities inspections.

Security, Access and Workplace Services

Coordinate building access, security passes, visitor access and contractor entry requirements.

Liaise with security providers regarding access control systems, security hardware and site security requirements.

Maintain workplace information including floor plans, facility maps and parking records.

Operational and Office Support

Support the delivery of workplace events and office initiatives, in conjunction with the office manager (including catering, meeting setup and site logistics).

Coordinate facilities requirements associated with employee onboarding and workplace changes.

About You





Qualifications, Certifications & Licenses

Trade qualification, tertiary qualification in town planning, or equivalent experience (desired, not required)

Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building maintenance or a similar role involving the coordination of trades, contractors and service providers.

Solid working knowledge of WHS, building code, fire safety, HVAC and regulatory compliance, with proven risk and issue management.

Proven ability to coordinate maintenance activities, contractor works and facilities projects within operational environments.

Proactive approach to identifying issues, escalating risks and implementing practical solutions.

Strategic facilities planning capability, forecasting space needs, developing costed options, and engaging effectively with landlords and internal stakeholders.

Trade qualification or previous experience as a tradesperson (e.g. builder, electrician, plumber or similar).

Experience managing facilities across multiple sites or geographically dispersed locations.

Experience coordinating workplace relocations, fit-outs, site expansions or facilities improvement projects.

Knowledge of contractor management, service level agreements and facilities procurement processes.

Experience using facilities management, maintenance management or contractor management system

Due to the nature of our business, we require Australian Citizenship for all roles. In this role you would need the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance (do not require a clearance before commencing).

Candidates must hold Australian citizenship at the time of application.
