Practice Administrator | Jackie Burke Psychology and Consulting Pty Ltd | Part -Time (Based in Crows Nest, NSW)

Part-time | Crows Nest, NSW | Up to 22 hours per week across 3 days

Also suited to candidates with experience as a Practice Receptionist or Allied Health Receptionist — we welcome applications from experienced reception professionals.

Part-time — up to 22 hours per week across 3 days. Monday and Thursday are fixed; the third day is negotiable.

Start time from 8:30am required on clinic days

Jackie Burke Psychology and Consulting is a psychology and consulting practice based on the lower North Shore of Sydney, providing therapy, training and consulting services across Australia. We are looking for an experienced and organised Practice Administrator to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our clinic

This role is the heart of the practice — you will be the first point of contact for clients and the person who keeps everything running behind the scenes. About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

Responding to incoming phone and email enquiries, ensuring clients receive compassionate and efficient responses

Greeting clients on arrival and maintaining a welcoming clinic environment

Coordinating bookings, cancellations,



rescheduling and the cancellations waitlist

Ensuring all client information is handled and stored in accordance with strict confidentiality requirements

Drafting high-quality correspondence, reports and client resources

General office administration including diary management and maintaining documented systems and processes

Collaborating with the Practice Accounts Officer on overlapping tasks including new client set-up, on-the-day EFTPOS receipting and GP Mental Health Care Plan billing

Ensuring clinic supplies are replenished in a timely manner

General administration duties and more

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience in health services administration, front office reception, or an allied health practice setting

Outstanding attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks

Excellent personal presentation and a warm, calm and professional manner with clients

The ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage your own workload with initiative and integrity

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills across a range of stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Zanda/Power Diary or a similar practice management system, or a willingness to learn quickly

A genuine understanding of and commitment to confidentiality in a psychology practice setting

Full unrestricted work rights in Australia
