About the role:

As a Brief Intervention Case Manager with us, you will get to provide immediate trauma-informed and person-centred care to participants utilising brief interventions. Our Case Managers support people with practical information and supports and

- Deliver brief interventions and relapse prevention support
- Provide case management and psychosocial support
- Facilitate psychoeducation and recovery groups
- Develop wellbeing and safety plans
- Build referral pathways and community partnerships
- Support participants to achieve health, housing, wellbeing and recovery goals

Hours and location

This full-time role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance. Working in a hybrid capacity, you'll split your time between our Coffs Harbour office, community-based outreach, and occasional work from home. A work vehicle is provided for community appointments. This position is funded until 30 June 2027, with strong potential for extension as part of our expanding community services.

Salary

This role will be remunerated at SCHCDS Level 4 $46-50ph with access to salary packaging to potentially increase your take home pay by another 5k.

Eligibility and experience

1. Tertiary qualifications at diploma level or higher in an AOD, Social work, psychology, or Mental Health field.
2. Current driver's licence, a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
3. A minimum of two years' experience in delivery of brief interventions with a trauma informed approach using knowledge of AOD support and relapse prevention.
