Mountain View Adventist College is a Preschool to Year 12 College owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are committed to providing quality Christian education to students from a wide range of religious and cultural backgrounds.

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused and professional Bus Driver to join our team. This role is essential to the operation of the College and involves safely transporting students to and from school, sporting events, excursions and other College activities.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Bus Supervisor, Bus Coordinator and Business Manager to ensure a safe, efficient and positive transport service for our students and community.

About the Role

As a part-time employee, you will generally work:

- Approximately 2 hours each morning and 2 hours each afternoon for scheduled school runs
- Additional hours for sporting events, excursions and other College activities as required

Key Responsibilities

- Safely transport students and staff to and from the College and College-related activities
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and other passengers while boarding, travelling on and exiting the bus
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and complete required documentation
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report vehicle concerns promptly
- Comply with all road rules, WHS requirements and relevant transport regulations




- Drive in a courteous, responsible and qualified manner at all times
- Maintain conduct that reflects the values and standards of the College
- Build positive and respectful relationships with students, parents and staff
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal, Business Manager or their delegates to support the smooth operation of the College

About You

- Support and uphold the values and ethos of a Christian organisation
- Hold a current LR driver's licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle (MR licence advantageous)
- Have a demonstrated safe driving history
- Have previous driving experience, preferably in a school or passenger transport setting
- Be punctual, reliable and professional
- Maintain high standards in your work and presentation
- Be able to work independently, use initiative and be proactive
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff
- Be willing to assist others and contribute positively to the College community
- Commit to the College Staff Code of Conduct
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working With Children Check valid for employment
- Be eligible to work unrestricted in Australia
