Labourforce is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Picker / Forklift Operator / Warehouse Administrator to join a well-established and industry-leading steel manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who enjoys a fast-paced workplace and is confident operating forklifts, completing inventory tasks, and assisting with customer interactions.
Shift Times
- 6:00AM - 2:00PM
- 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Pay Rate
$37.35 per hour + Super
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders
- Loading and unloading trucks, supplier deliveries, and customer collections
- Conducting cyclic stock counts and stocktake activities
- Using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Assisting customers with Order Pick-Ups (OPU) and general customer service support
- Supporting warehouse and sheds teams when required
- Performing floor searches and site sweeps
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards (5S)
- Following all WH&S; procedures and PPE requirements
- Completing general administration and computer-based tasks
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment
- Current Forklift Licence (High Risk Licence - Essential)
- Experience operating forklifts and side loaders
- RF scanning experience
- Cycle counting / stocktake experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and administration experience
- Reliable attitude with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset
