With world leading exclusive agencies, Hygrade Waters’ comprehensive range of products includes a full complement of valves, pipe fittings, and related specialist products for civil and municipal applications for the Australian water, Mining, and civil infrastructure industry sectors.

Due to the increased demand and current work load in our sales & projects departments , we are looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator to support the project & sales teams.

The Role:

This is key support role in the business, supporting predominantly the Project team in managing and delivering projects, tender evaluation and preparation. Through a strategic approach you will, identify recent opportunities and maintain an extensive knowledge of current projects and market conditions. You will report directly to the Project team leader

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Sales Support; You will provide sales support for the agencies, brands and products that we represent, communicate with Overseas suppliers in the way of pricing, technical details, deliveries and general support for all of our strategic product brands
- Project Team Support; Provide internal project support for the sales & project teams in the way of pricing, marketing and research support, Tender evaluation and tender preparation and submission. Identify potential new project opportunities through BCI, tenderlink etc and maintain an extensive knowledge of current projects and market conditions.
- Project Coordination; Coordinate projects by liaising with suppliers and shipping partners to ensure projects are delivered on time. Liaise with customers on deliveries and post-delivery paperwork including putting together MDR’s and IOM’s etc to meet contract requirements.

Required Attributes:





- Technical Expertise: Excellent technical knowledge and expertise with applications associated with projects, tender preparation and submission, Ability to understand data sheets, material take-offs and design drawings. Understanding of exchange rates, overseas freighting including duties & Taxes. Must be able to understand the range, and product offerings relating to projects and be able to communicate with overseas suppliers.
- Excellent Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are paramount to ensure a strong customer relationship and that all customers needs are met. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Team Player; Flexible, reliable and customer focused. Communicates effectively with the wider team and operates in a respectful and supportive manner. Shares openly and willingly and is an active participant.
- Technically Competent; A good range of product and application knowledge is important, as is an understanding of how products work together to form solutions.
- Commercial Acumen: To understand the value of our package, products and solutions and to create long term returns on investments. Be able to read and understand contract terms and conditions and be familiar with overseas exchange rates and international freight shipments and costs.
- Accurate With Detail; To ensure Tenders/quotes are correct as they form the basis of a commercial contract.
- Handle Pressure: Quotes/tenders need to be in on time, and project supply must be well co-ordinated even during times of stress and pressure. A mature and organised approach is always required to ensure that quotes and delivery schedules are being met and the customer is well informed.
- Microsoft Skills: Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Project. Able to perform cost calculation and generate Gantt Chart
