Fleet Allocator / Controller – Rocklea QLD

Great opportunity for a seasoned freight professional to develop and lead a team in a company experiencing massive growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is responsible for the productive running of local fleet allocations utilising our online freight management system.

This role is responsible for the planning of all local SEQ pickups and deliveries, and overseeing the unloading and loading of local deliveries and inbound linehaul movements, including scheduling and time slot bookings. You will also be supporting the Operations Manager in leading, developing and improving all facets of the Brisbane operation.

In addition, the role will have responsibility of Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, compliance and CoR requirements

This role is a 8am start through to 6pm finish

The Person





We are looking for a dynamic individual that will take ownership of this role and is passionate about developing a career in the express freight industry. The right person will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills in a agile environment.

The successful candidate will have the determination to steadfastly promote a culture of safety & standards whilst balancing the dynamics of the business where priorities and plans can shift on the hour.

A freight background is highly desirable, however the ability to build and lead a highly productive service team with a strong culture is mandatory. This role is a direct hands-on leadership role with excellent communication skills are essential to the role.
