Our client, a Federal Government department based in all states and territories that is responsible for providing the Australian people with an independent electoral service, requires the services of a Lead Workforce Planner for a long 10 + 6 + 6 month contract.
Duties of the Lead Workforce Planner:
- Developing, driving and delivering on the labour hire recruitment and retention strategies for the Program, ensuring best practice, consistency and adherence to policies
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders/labour hire sellers and maintaining labour hire contract management discussions of both a sensitive and non-sensitive nature.
- Liaising with internal teams to manage highly sensitive matters of contractual management.
- Building relationships with stakeholders.
- Identifying, prioritising and building organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes toward strategic labour hire talent identification and maintenance based on best practice.
- Analysing workforce trends to support and advise Program and executives.
- Identifying and driving the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Aligning performance management and reward strategies.
Skills and Experience - Lead Workforce Planner:
- Proven ability to act with discretion and integrity in managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience in liaising with a wide range of relevant internal and external stakeholders including senior executives.
- Demonstrated experience in Commonwealth Government labour hire talent acquisition and contract management policies and practices.
- Knowledge and experience in successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results on time.
- Well-developed organisational skills with an ability proactively approach responsibilities.
- Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
- Experience in recruitment and labour hire contract management in a program workplace.
