Remuneration:$30.89- $37.72phr+Casual Loading +Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

As a Central Sterilisation Technician, you willbe responsible forthe reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the Hospital.

What makes a difference for us?

Current clinical experience in sterilisation techniques.

Australian Standard 4187- 2014.

ACHS Standards.

NHMRC - Guidelines for the prevention of transmission of infectious diseases.

Handling of used items for sterilisation process, including collection procedures and precautions.

Decontamination and disinfection processes.

Demonstrated instrumentation knowledge & able to assemble instrument trays correctly.





SRACA Membership 'Sterilising Research & Advisory Council of Australia (QLD) INC (Desirable)

Loan Kit experience (Desirable)

Available to work across all shifts, AM/PM/Nights plus 24/7 on call roster

Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
