The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Hydraulic Hose Technicians to join our Moranbah and Blackwater team. This full time, permanent role operates on a 7/7 roster.

You’ll work on a variety of machines and equipment across the mining and agricultural sectors—performing hose and fitting removal, manufacturing, and installation. You’ll be involved in planned and breakdown work, machine audits, inspections, and problem-solving, all while working within RS23 guidelines. A fully equipped service vehicle, on-the-job training, and all required PPE and uniforms are provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture, remove, and install hydraulic hoses and fittings
- Service a range of machinery and equipment across mining, quarry and ag industries
- Conduct machine inspections and audits to RS23 Standard
- Respond to planned maintenance and breakdowns
- Provide practical, effective solutions to customer issues




- Manage and maintain stock within your service vehicle
- Accurately complete job invoicing using a iPad system
- Follow all in-house and site-specific safety procedures
- Some Nightshift work call outs apply, including rates

What You’ll Need

- Full Australian working rights
- MR Licence
- Mechanically minded with hands-on trade background
- Previous hydraulic hose experience (essential) in field breakdown
- Hydraulic cylinder knowledge (advantageous)
- Strong English and computer/iPad skills/Inventory Software (essential)
- Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (advantageous — we can assist the right candidate)
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols at all times
- Strong organisation, communication skills, and a solid work ethic
- Customer-focused, solution-driven attitude complemented with respectful behaviours
