We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Motel Management Couple. This is a unique full time opportunity based in Casino, NSW 2470, where you and your partner will work together to manage and operate our motel property. As a management couple, you will share responsibilities for the day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and facility management. This role offers the chance to build a successful partnership within the hospitality sector whilst contributing to a family friendly business with strong values and community connections.

Key responsibilities

Overseeing all aspects of motel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping coordination and maintenance scheduling

Managing guest relations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and problem resolution

Supervising and training staff members, fostering a positive and professional working environment

Maintaining accurate records of bookings, revenues, expenses and occupancy rates

Implementing and maintaining health, safety and hygiene standards in accordance with relevant legislation and industry best practices

Managing budgets, controlling costs and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability

Conducting regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure quality standards are met

Liaising with suppliers, contractors and service providers to maintain facilities and equipment

Promoting the motel through various channels and managing online presence and bookings platforms

Handling administrative duties, including payroll coordination and compliance documentation

Being available for emergency situations and providing on‑call support as required

What we look for

Proven experience in motel or hotel management, ideally with at least 2-3 years in a similar operational role

Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions





Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest complaints professionally and courteously

Proficiency in motel management software and booking systems, preferably GuestPoint.

Sound knowledge of health, safety and food hygiene standards applicable to hospitality venues

Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements

A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences

Flexibility and resilience, with the ability to work weekends, public holidays and unsociable hours as required

Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or equivalent experience would be advantageous
