Starting at technician level, you will gain hands‑on experience across laboratory processes, fieldwork, client engagement and technical reporting. With structured training and ongoing support, this role provides a strong foundation for progression toward a Senior Occupational Hygienist role.

Key Responsibilities

- · Prepare and test laboratory samples.
- · Assist with field inspections and sample collection.
- · Conduct air monitoring and occupational hygiene investigations.
- · Prepare, maintain and calibrate equipment.
- · Enter data and contribute to technical reports.
- · Support quality assurance processes and laboratory documentation.
- · Provide general laboratory and office support.
- · Assist with respirator and ear plug fit testing.

About You

You are curious, practical and motivated to learn. You may already work in a laboratory or safety-related workplace, be starting a career in occupational hygiene, or have recently completed Year 12 with sound results in english, maths and/or science.

- · Enjoy learning specialist technical skills and solving practical problems.
- · Are self-motivated, reliable, organised and willing to learn.
- · Can work independently and collaboratively within a small professional team.
- · Are confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- · Hold a current driver licence or are working toward obtaining one.
- · Are willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
