A rapidly expanding, busy practice in the ACT is seeking a confident, motivated and passionate veterinarian to join their multi-vet team.

Both experienced vets and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Vets are supported by vet nurses and a practice manager.

This is a full-time position, to work approximately 36 hours per week, including some Saturday morning work. No after-hours required. A part-time role will be considered for the right candidate.

The practice is mostly small animal (90-95%), with some equine and cattle work. They would be prepared to expand their large animal base should the successful candidate be especially interested in large animal work. Small animal only vets are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work efficiently and effectively.

Vets should possess the ability to work well within a team, complete their work to a high standard while being flexible and reliable.

This clinic is fully equipped with all the toys one would expect, including a surgical theatre, biochemistry, urinalysis, digital x-ray, ultrasound, IDEXX pathology, dental radiography and RX Works software.

Career development is encouraged and supported, and the successful applicant must be ambitious in continuing their education. Both CPD allowance and paid CPD leave are provided.

The practice is located in rural ACT, approximately 30 minutes from the centre of Canberra.
