Administration Officer - Emergency Department

Permanent part time opportunity to provide an efficient Administration Support service to the Emergency Department clinical staff and patients, witha high levelof customer servicedemonstratingempathy, respect,teamworkand compassion.Respond to enquiries and provide information andassistanceto staff,patientsand visitors tofacilitateeffective service delivery within a hospital setting.

About you

- Rotate through various administration positions within the Emergency Department as directed by yourSupervisor.
- Ability to adapt to change to ensure continuous improvement in processes whilst providing quality care to patients,familiesand carers.
- Effectively communicate with patients, visitors and staff anddemonstrateempathy,patienceand a positive customer focus, including assistingclinical staffinmaintainingpatient contact and communication with family and visitors both internally and externally.
- Perform a support role to medical and nursing staff within the department byassistingwith the preparation and completion of a range of administrative duties.
