About Us
CQ. Studio, a part of Conquest Group, is our in-house team of passionate designers with extensive experience within the mixed-use residential sector. The team enjoy the opportunity to collaborate more closely with our development team and construction delivery team. Due to our exponential growth, we are looking to grow the team with an experienced Interior Designer who has proven experience in multi-residential and mixed-use developments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the interior design of residential and mixed-use developments from concept through to construction and project completion.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, presentations, and visualisations that communicate the design vision.
- Produce high-quality design documentation, schedules, and construction packages using Revit for design development, approvals, tender, and construction.
- Research and specify FF&E;, materials, and finishes that balance design intent, quality, durability, budget, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with internal Development and Construction teams, architects, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to deliver coordinated design outcomes.
- Present and communicate design proposals confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor design implementation through site inspections,
providing guidance to ensure design quality and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous design improvement by keeping up to date with industry trends, products, materials, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, essentially within the residential or commercial development sectors
- Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Enscape (highly regarded)
- Strong conceptual, spatial, and aesthetic design skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and detailing
- Familiarity with BCA/NCC, Australian Standards, and accessibility codes relevant to interiors
- Experience working with construction teams and understanding of buildability and construction sequencing is desirable
