What You Will Do
- Service, diagnose and repair CAT haul trucks (777), loaders (980), dozers (D10T) and graders (16M) to major maintenance standard
- Carry out scheduled servicing, component change outs and preventative maintenance across a range of heavy mining equipment
- Diagnose and resolve faults across hydraulics and powertrain systems
- Complete work orders, service sheets and all site documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, safe workshop and actively participate in all site safety processes
- Support the broader maintenance crew and flag issues early before they become bigger problems
What You Will Bring
- Recognised Australian trade certificate in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (Cert III minimum)
- At least 3 years post trade experience on heavy mobile
- Queensland High Risk Work Licence with Working at Heights, LF Forklift, EWP and Dogman,
gaps considered if you can close them within your first three months
- Current C class driver's licence (HR or MR is a bonus)
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen before you mobilise
- Full, ongoing work rights, this role is not open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship
