The exciting opportunity

- Permanent part time role working 9am – 5pm on Tuesday & Wednesday
- Based at our 46-bed Caroline Chisholm aged care home in Lane Cove
- Instruct, teach and guide Kitchen Hands
- Prepare and cook food in line with cyclic menus, standard recipes, food texture modification and portion sizes
- Ensure that resident's individual menu choices are met, including any special dietary requirements
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage

The recipe for success

- Successful track record as a Cook within residential aged care
- Experience preparing textured modified foods including minced and moist
- Personable, respectful, and with effective communication and customer service skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not offered)
