About the Role

Join our team at the Victorian Heart Hospital and contribute to life-changing cardiac care. As part of Australia's largest dedicated cardiology department, we provide exceptional services to both adult and paediatric patients. The Cardiac Sonographer plays a crucial role in both our Adult and Paediatric Echo Cardiology programs. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Cardiac Sonographer Grade 3 who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based, patient and family-centred care while being supported in your professional growth. This is a Full-time or Part time ongoing (1.0 EFT) prospect, based at the Victorian Heart Hospital, with travel to other sites as required.

About You

You will have the following:

- Full accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) (mandatory).
- Extensive experience post-completion of an ASAR-approved postgraduate course (mandatory).
- Paediatric echocardiography experience is highly desirable and will be highly regarded.




- Excellent Time Management skills when performing scans and producing Interim Reports in the appropriate time frames.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong stakeholder engagement abilities to collaborate with hospital staff, referrers, agencies, patients, and families.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team, demonstrating a high standard of clinical reasoning in echocardiography.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
