Disability Support Worker Casual with conversion to Full time

Minka Blue' is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Bathurst, NSW. The roles available are Casual through to Full time. The role will see you providing high-quality, personalised support to clients with a range of disabilities, helping them to live independently and actively participate in their community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation and household tasks

Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and community events

Developing and implementing tailored support plans to help clients achieve their goals

Advocating for clients and liaising with other healthcare professionals as needed

Maintaining detailed client records and documentation

Ensuring a safe, inclusive and empowering environment for all clients

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification

Demonstrated experience in a similar Disability Support Worker role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet client needs

A genuine commitment to empowering people with disabilities and promoting their independence

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

A positive, patient and resilient attitude
