We have an opportunity for a Practice Nurse (EEN or RN) with a minimum of 2 yrs experience, to join a very friendly and established practice in Ormeau & Pimpama, Northern Gold Coast.

Busy practice with 4-5 GPs providing comprehensive healthcare for the community. Generally you will be working alongside of another practice nurse, business hours Monday to Friday only. This is an attractive opportunity to utilise you great practice nursing skills.

The Practice Nurse will ideally be familiar with all aspects of general practice nursing, assisting with treatment room procedures, wound care, assessment and observations, cannulation & iron infusions, pathology collection, ECG’s, Immunisation and understanding of the safe storage of vaccines. You will be managing recalls,



reminders and chronic disease management along with contributing to quality improvements and accreditation processes. There is plenty of support and opportunity for training and development and you will have the support of the whole team to help you settle into your current role.

Practice Nurse criteria

- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN EN)
- Great communication skills – written and verbal
- Recent Practice Nursing experience
- Proficient with Best Practice and Hot Docs
- Immunisation Certificate
- Strong attention to detail
- Current National Police Check
- Applicants must have Australian work rights
