Disability Support Worker (Male & Female) – Sunshine Coast | Part time to Full-time Pathway

ProCare Solution (Registered NDIS Provider) is hiring one male and one female Disability Support Worker to support a male participant living with Parkinson's disease on the Sunshine Coast.

These roles start casual (20–25 hours per week) as a secure role for the same time and hours each week, subject to probation and service demand. Immediate start available for the right candidates who can hit the ground running and are looking for long-term employment.

We are seeking professional, reliable, and compassionate workers who want job security, consistent hours, and growth within a registered provider — not short-term contracting.

About the role

You will provide person-centred support, including:

- Personal care and daily living assistance (as required and per support plan)
- Mobility support and safe transfers
- Community access and transport to appointments/activities
- Meal preparation and light household tasks
- Accurate progress notes and documentation
- Working within NDIS Practice Standards and ProCare policies

Your first placement will involve supporting a participant with Parkinson's disease, with opportunities to work with additional participants as hours increase.

Essential requirements

To be considered, you must have:





- Certificate III or IV in Disability / Individual Support / Community Services (or actively studying – proof required)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Ability to obtain immediately)
- First Aid + CPR
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
- Ability to follow support plans and document clearly

Highly regarded

- Experience with Parkinson's, neurological conditions, or mobility support
- Manual handling experience
- Medication assistance experience (where delegated and within scope)

Employment details

- Permanet hours to start (20–25 hrs/week)

- Pay negotiable based on experience and qualifications
