We are seeking a diligent and responsible Part-Time Security Officer / Crowd Controller to join our team at Immediate Response Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their premises.
What you'll be doing
Conducting regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to identify and report any security concerns
Monitoring and responding to security alarms and incidents, following established protocols
Managing and controlling crowds at events, ensuring the safety and security of attendees
Providing a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and enforce site rules and regulations
Maintaining detailed records and reports of all security-related activities and incidents
Assisting with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures
Collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services as required
What we're looking for
A valid Security Officer license QLD
Experience in a security or crowd control role, preferably experienced in Retail Operations
Robust communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, the public, and emergency services
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle security incidents effectively
A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of security
