icm property I.C.M. PROPERTY SERVICES PTY. LTD. is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team in Double Bay NSW.

The role involves conducting risk-based internal audits, reviewing financial, operational and administrative processes, evaluating internal controls, and supporting audit planning, reporting and follow-up activities. The successful applicant will assist with audit projects, risk evaluation, compliance testing and the development of internal audit programs to support strong governance and business performance.

Work-life balance Task & responsibilities Conduct timely risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and management directions. Assist with various audit projects, with an initial focus on revenue assurance. Conduct risk evaluations of assigned functional areas or departments within established timeframes.

Support internal oversight and evaluation of organisational risk and audit processes. Perform internal audit tasks relating to risk management and internal controls. Review financial, operational and administrative processes and systems.

Evaluate the suitability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and effectiveness of internal controls. Identify compliance with established rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Examine the validity and reliability of financial, accounting and operational data, and report any deviations.

Participate in audit engagement planning, scoping, execution, reporting and follow-up activities. Review and understand company policies and procedures.



Evaluate business processes and transactions to assess control effectiveness and risk mitigation.

Identify opportunities to improve the internal audit control environment. Conduct testing in accordance with accreditation and regulatory requirements. Support the development of internal audit programs for operational audits, special reviews and related projects.

Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline is required. Minimum 1 year of proven experience in internal auditing, external auditing, risk management, compliance or a related role. Strong knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, risk management and compliance requirements.

Ability to review financial, accounting, operational and administrative records accurately. Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills. High attention to detail and ability to identify risks, control gaps and process improvement opportunities.

Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional business environment. Punctual, reliable and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
