Home Care Support Worker - Aged Care (SE Syd, SW Syd & Illawarra/Shoalhaven)

We are a boutique Aged Care Provider delivering high quality care and individualised support to clients in the comfort of their own home.

We are rapidly expanding and have a number of opportunities available for caring, empathetic, motivated and experienced support workers to join our team. Adaptable days/times to suit your lifestyle.

Minimum 6-12 months of aged care experience is required.

As a support worker you will provide assistance to our home care clients, ensuring they are fully supported with services and activities that meet their specific care needs, enabling them to remain living independently at home.

Key Responsibilities

- assistance with transport to appointments
- domestic assistance, light housework, meal preparation
- provide safe and ethical person-centered care to clients in their own home
- ability to identify and promptly report changes in the client's condition
- resilient and adaptive with the ability to work alone




- maintaining an accurate record of the progress and well-being of clients
- practice safe manual handling, ability to lift up to 20kg
- capable of effective time management and work organisation

Requirements

- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Full Australian Driver Licence with own comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current Criminal History Check (or willing to obtain)
