Commercial role with strong exposure across the business

$110k - $130k + Super

This well-established retail company operates across a broad national network and offers a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. With a solid customer base and a complex operating model, the business provides excellent exposure to both finance and operational stakeholders.

An opportunity has become available for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the FP&A; team and support key business units with reporting, analysis and commercial insights. This role will play an important part in helping the business understand performance, improve decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.

- Assisting with budgets, forecasts and longer-term planning
- Producing regular management reporting, commentary and performance analysis
- Analysing financial results and explaining key movements against budget and forecast




- Working closely with operational teams to provide commercial support and financial insights
- Highlighting business risks, trends and opportunities
- Preparing financial models, business cases and scenario analysis
- Supporting month-end reporting and reviewing P&L; performance
- Contributing to improvements across reporting, systems and finance processes
- Providing ad hoc analysis to support senior stakeholders and business decisions

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 4+ years of experience as an Analyst or Accountant, either in retail company or at a Big 4 or 2nd-tier accounting firm. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, strong attention to detail and organisational skills, and a positive attitude.
