General Carpenter / Construction Tradesperson (Subcontractor)

About the Role

Elev8 Construction is seeking experienced and reliable subcontract carpenters and construction tradespeople to join our growing team.

We deliver refurbishment, maintenance, and general construction projects across aged care facilities, residential properties, and commercial environments. Our work is wide-ranging, offering the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with flexible hours to suit your availability.

Typical Scope of Works

- Bathroom renovations
- Unit upgrades
- Unit modifications
- General refurbishment works
- Installation of doors, door hardware, skirting, architraves and internal finishes
- Framing and blocking
- Make-good works
- General carpentry and construction
- Planned and reactive maintenance works

Engagement

- Subcontractor basis (ABN required)
- Weekly invoice payments
- Ongoing work available

Working Hours

We offer genuine flexibility and can accommodate:

- Full-time hours
- Part-time hours
- Any combination of days that suits your availability

Locations

We have ongoing projects throughout:

- Wollongong
- Shellharbour
- Nowra
- St Georges Basin
- South Coast NSW
- Sydney Metropolitan Area

Where possible, we will allocate work close to your location.



If you're happy to travel, we have plenty of opportunities across all regions.

What You'll Need

- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Own tools suitable for general carpentry and construction work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain for aged care projects)
- Experience working safely in occupied facilities is highly regarded
- A professional attitude and commitment to delivering quality work
