Strong leadership, hands-on automation expertise, and the ability to drive QA transformation while ensuring regulatory compliance, system stability, and quality excellence across web, mobile, and backend systems Benefits Opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team with growth opportunities Hybrid working Task & responsibilities QA Leadership & Delivery Management Lead end-to-end QA activities for banking applications including Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Cards, Loans, or Digital Channels. Own QA strategy, test governance, estimation, planning, execution, defect management and release sign-off.

Owns generation and delivery of test artefacts including - test strategy and plan, test cases, test execution report Act as the primary QA point of contact for business stakeholders, product owners, architects and delivery teams. Manage onsite/offshore QA teams, provide technical direction, mentoring, and performance feedback. Ensure adherence to banking regulatory standards, data security, and compliance requirements.

Functional and Automation Testing Responsibilities Define and execute end-to-end test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases covering functional, integration, system, UAT and regression testing. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across core banking platforms, digital channels, APIs, batch jobs, and third-party integrations. Lead and perform testing for payments processing, transaction validation, reconciliation, interest calculations, and exception handling to ensure business and regulatory accuracy.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable hybrid automation frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven) for Web UI (Selenium WebDriver) and API testing (Rest Assured). Automate regression, smoke, and sanity test suites to support continuous and frequent releases.



Drive defect triage, prioritization, and resolution in collaboration with development and business teams.

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Azure DevOps) and ensure execution across multiple environments and browsers to support release readiness. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and DevOps teams to identify quality gaps early in the lifecycle. Drive shift-left testing, continuous testing and test optimization practices.

Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance QA efficiency and delivery predictability. Provide regular status reports, quality metrics, risk assessments and dashboards to senior management.

Qualification & experience Skills & Ability Strong hands-on experience in test planning, execution and governance Minimum 4 years experience in advanced automated testing skills using Selenium / Rest API Agile methodology experience Strong stakeholder management skills (including customer).

Advanced skills in problem solving, decision making and critical thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and lead junior test engineers.

Knowledge & Experience 5+ years' experience as a System Test Engineer Valuable experience testing financial sector software Strong banking domain understanding including regulatory compliance needs, AML, lifecycle management of banking product Academic Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's Degree in an IT (or related) discipline.
