Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the financial reporting of a diverse portfolio of entities, ensuring accurate month-end reporting and maintaining the integrity of the financial records. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements for a portfolio of entities
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assist with statutory reporting and year-end audit requirements
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to continually improve processes and reporting
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- CA or ACCA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Assistant Accountant role
- Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation experience
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the business
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems will be highly regarded
