One of Sydney's largest painting firms is seeking a highly organised and energetic Painting Project Manager to join our painting project management team. Enjoy a competitive salary of $100,000 – $130,000 plus bonuses, a company vehicle, and a supportive team culture.
About the Role
As one of our Painting Project Managers, you will take full ownership of project lifecycles from the initial start up to final handover. Working with the Painting Estimator you will be the primary link between our clients, directing sub-contractors and in-house painters, ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to our uncompromising quality standards. You will be reporting to the Senior Painting Project Manager and the Head of Production. Projects you will oversee will be in the Sydney metro area.
Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate your crew of painters / subcontractors.
Quality & Safety: Perform regular quality assurance site walks and enforce strict safety and compliance standards.
Client Relations: Provide weekly progress updates to clients and address any concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
Candidates will ideally have a minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management or a senior trade supervisor role within the painting or construction industry.
Candidates will need to be highly organised, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Robust knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, and finishing methods is an advantage, as well as knowledge of general OH&S; site safety, plus a good understanding of high access equipment and methodology.
Valid Driver's License and Construction White Card.
Trade background (Painter and Decorator) is highly regarded but not strictly required.
