This is a full time Depot Supervisor and Forklift Driver position based in Rocklea, Queensland. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring smooth and efficient freight handling and delivery services. This is a hands-on role that involves operating a forklift to load and unload freight.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinating the depot
- Completing Run Sheets and Booking Time Slots using a computer
- Loading and unloading of freight using a forklift
- Ensuring all freight is handled and dispatched in a timely and safe manner
- Liaising with customers and carriers to address any delivery or service queries
- Maintaining a safe and organised work setting, adhering to all safety protocols
- Supporting the broader operations and logistics team as needed

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Depot Supervisor or in a similar freight/logistics role




- Current Australian forklift licence and experience operating forklifts in a commercial setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Computer Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and the team
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Knowledge of freight handling and logistics processes
