About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, large-scale environmental projects across Central Queensland.

This role provides strategic oversight and operational leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.

The role is also accountable for building high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

Ideally, the PM will have Ecological Consultancy experience or knowledge with local networks and team leadership capabilities.

What you will do

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex environmental and land management projects from planning through to completion.
- Develop and implement project strategies, methodologies, and delivery frameworks.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Build and maintain solid client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. [Position D...ct Manager | Word]
- Engage effectively with regulators, landholders, and community stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and junior staff to build capability.
- Foster a positive,



high-performance culture aligned with Ecosure values.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, WHS requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and governance compliance.
- Identify growth opportunities and contribute to expanding client portfolios.
- Support proposal development, tender submissions, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent Ecosure in industry forums and stakeholder engagements.

About You

- Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or related discipline
- Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) highly desirable
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in project management within environmental, infrastructure, or consulting sectors
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-site projects
- Strategic and outcomes-focused
- Resilient and adaptable in regional and field-based environments
- High level of integrity and accountability
