Debtor Administration Assistant - Toowoomba Qld

Land Transport is a leading national Road Transport company who specialists in General Freight Transport. Operating for over 40 years, we are dedicated to putting our workers first, providing a safe work environment with job security.

We are currently looking for a hands on, confident andproactive person to join our Debtors Team in Head Office situated in Toowoomba. the Ideal candidate experience will range from Entry Level up to two years of accounts experience.

About the Role:

- Check pre-entered consignment notes and manifests following up with depots for required information
- Ensure that information entered on the system matches consignment notes before releasing for invoice
- Enter cash sale invoices and follow up on payments
- Accurately enter data into the JAIX software
- Process Credit Card payments
- Receiving, scanning and filing PODs
- Promptly answer customers enquiries via phone and email

About you:





To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Solid maths and computer skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience handling private information
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills

If you have proven experience, are self-motivated, reliable, enthusiastic, have an excellent work ethic and you have the ability to work independently and as part of a team we look forward to receiving your application. Your hours of work will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (inclusive), working within Land Transport’s core business hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm. Previous experience in the Transport Industry is desirable.
