As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead day-to-day kitchen operations, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality food and service standards.

As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead day-to-day kitchen operations, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality food and service standards.

About the Role

- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
- Assist with menu development, rostering, stock control, and ordering
- Lead service periods and maintain high food quality and presentation standards




- Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
- Contribute creative ideas and seasonal menu input
- Assist with functions, events, and catering when required

About You

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced venues
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of stock control, kitchen costing, and operations
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and quality presentation
- Ability to perform under pressure and lead by example
- Relevant culinary qualifications preferred
