The Project – Western Harbour Tunnel

ARA Electrical has been selected by Acciona to deliver the Western Harbour Tunnel Electrical Fit Out – (South). The Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) is a substantial road transport infrastructure project creating a western bypass of the Sydney CBD, the WHT will relieve pressure on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Harbour Tunnel, Anzac Bridge and Western Distributor corridors to improve transport capacity in and around central Sydney and Sydney Harbour.

Expression of Interest –Trades Assistants

ARA Electrical Major Projects Division are seeking Expressions of Interest for Construction Trades Assistants to join our team for our upcoming Western Harbour Tunnel Project starting Mid early August 2026





Project Details –

- Working Week - 5 to 6 Days, access dependent

- Sydney Major Construction EBA (Infrastructure)

- Duration – 12 Months

- Project Warehouse – Rozelle, NSW

Responsibilities of the role include / What you will do

- Cable Ladder Installation supporting Electricians

- LV Cable Installation supporting Electricians

- Able to work in a team environment

To be successful in this key role, you must have / What we are looking for;

- Construction White card

- Current Drivers Licence

- EWP High Risk + 11M Licence, not essential

- Forklift Licence – not essential

- MR Licence – not essential

- Proven experience working on a Tier 1 Project.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Robust communication and teamwork abilities.

- Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.

- Willing to work Overtime
