Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to designated locations in a safe and timely manner. This role offers an exciting career path with opportunities for growth into a Truck Driver position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle (car, van, or small truck) to transport goods to customers or other locations as assigned
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are securely and safely packed
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including handling inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- HR licence preferred
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to do multi-drops, hand unloading and manage the physical demands of the job
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full time/Permanent Chance
