Glen Fisk Recruitment is partnering with a Queensland Government agency to appoint an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise data products.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in enabling evidence-informed decision making across this department by shaping trusted, reusable and business-focused data solutions that deliver long‑term value.

Position overview:

The Data Product Manager is responsible for leading the delivery and continuous improvement of a portfolio of enterprise data products that enable evidence-informed decision making across this Queensland Department. Ensuring they are trusted, reusable and fit for long‑term use across multiple business needs.

Working at the intersection of business and technology, the role is accountable for understanding business priorities, translating them into a clear product vision and roadmap, and ensuring multidisciplinary data squads deliver high‑value, user‑focused outcomes.

The role provides product leadership to agile data squads, working closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, analysts, data modellers and governance specialists to deliver trusted, reusable enterprise data products.

Experience and skills

- Experience managing digital, data or analytics products.
- Experience working with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics or business intelligence.
- Knowledge of data governance, information management and data quality principles.
- Experience working in large, complex organisations, preferably within the public sector
