The Neverstop Water Group is a leading provider of irrigation, water infrastructure, sportsfield construction and civil services across NSW. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver & Machinery Operator to join our high-performing team.

Based from our Sydney depot, this full-time role is responsible for transporting plant and equipment, operating machinery on-site, and supporting our construction crews across a variety of projects.

Please note: This role requires an experienced operator who can confidently and safely load and unload machinery onto a tipper and flat bed truck. If you do not have proven experience in this area, please do not apply.

About the Role

As part of our operations team, your responsibilities will include:

- Safely operating heavy machinery including excavators, posi-tracks, tractors and trenchers.
- Competently loading and unloading plant and equipment onto HR tipper trucks.
- Transporting machinery and equipment safely between project sites.
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and maintaining vehicles and machinery to a high standard.
- Completing log books, maintenance records and transport documentation accurately.
- Following all company WHS policies, transport regulations and safe work procedures.
- Assisting site crews with labouring duties when required—including operating hand tools and occasionally picking up a shovel when needed.




- Contributing to a positive team culture while delivering projects safely, efficiently and professionally.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery within the construction, civil or infrastructure industry.
- Demonstrated experience loading and unloading machinery onto tipper trucks safely and efficiently.
- A current HR Driver's Licence (essential).
- Current machinery VOCs and/or relevant competency tickets.
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player.
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexibility to work early starts, occasional late finishes, weekend work and regional travel when required.
