The Role

Our Carole Park Head Office is looking for an experienced fitter to support our thriving manufacturing facility. This role will support major project activity through modifying and building machinery as well as generally maintenance within our factory.

This position is an day shift role offering 4 days on, 4 days off schedule starting at 6:00 am and finishing at 5:30 pm (Subject to change) across an 8 week rotating roster across 7 days per week

Please note for up to the first 10 weeks the successful candidate may be on a set shifts between Monday - Friday each week to allow for training and assistance with a current project within the facility.

Hourly pay rate

Pay rate of $47.78 does not include any allowances, including disturbance allowance which will be paid on top of this, any overtime is paid at base rate of $47.78 per hour

Requirements

- Tertiary Qualification in Fitting (Mandatory Requirement)
- Prior experience in Maintenance




- Hold or be willing to obtain confined space ticket
- Experience in general Mechanical Repairs to a wide range of machinery including:
- General fitting and machining
- Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
- Flexibility to meet production demands
- Good problem solving / Diagnostic ability
- Possess Good housekeeping and 5S understanding
- Must have high standards and attitude towards EH&S; in the Workplace.
- Willingness to wear required PPE
- Welding TIG & MIG will be highly regarded, as the majority of the project work will be working with Stainless Steel. Experience with Pneumatics is also advantageous.
