About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced 14T Excavator Operator to join our client's in Caloundra.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a major civil construction project, with 12+ months of consistent employment and the potential to transition into a permanent full time role for reliable, high-performing operators.
You'll be operating a 14-tonne excavator (non-GPS), carrying out precision excavation works while working alongside an experienced civil construction team.
Key Responsibilities
- Final trim excavation to a high standard (non-GPS)
- Bulk and detailed excavations for civil construction
- Excavation of trenches and drainage infrastructure
- Moving pipes, materials and spoil around site
- Site preparation for initial construction works
- Hard and soft landscaping excavation works
- Working safely and efficiently on a busy civil construction site
About You
- Demonstrated experience operating 14T excavators
- Strong final trim excavation skills (non-GPS)
- Experience working on civil construction projects
- Confidence working around live services, crews and busy work areas
- The ability to work accurately, safely and efficiently
- Reliability and commitment to attending work Monday to Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Own reliable transport

- Available to work Monday to Friday (approximately 6:30am - 4:30pm)
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or unrestricted work rights). Applicants on Working Holiday or Student Visas will not be considered.
