About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in supporting both the preparation of high-quality meals and the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll also play a hands-on role in serving meals and ensuring a positive dining experience for those we support. You’ll assist with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen under HACCP standards.

Current Shifts Available

- Monday to Friday: 0630-1430 (76hr Full Time)
- Monday to Friday: 1100-1900 (76hr Full Time)
- Monday to Wednesday: 1500-1900 (24hr Part Time)

What You’ll Do

- Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of the chef or supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food service areas
- Receive and store deliveries
- Support the team in setting up and clearing food service areas
- Adhere to food safety and workplace health & safety standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen or food service role (preferred, not essential)
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required
