CIHE Australia is a private HEI operating in North Sydney, Hurstville, Perth and Canberra. We are currently seeking to appoint a Student Support Officer for the LATAM market to join our growing team in Sydney.

Responsibilities

- Provide marketing advice and assistance to the senior management team, particularly for the LATAM market
- Identify and create opportunities to develop the brand and profile of CIHE
- Liaise with onshore and offshore education agents dealing with the LATAM market
- Work with the student support manager to provide clear orientation and guidance to students regarding the support services available to them.
- Where appropriate, refer students to relevant academic staff for academic support services
- Where appropriate, refer students to external services for personal support.
- Provides information to students about the use of the CIHE grievance procedure.
- Provide advice to students in person via front desk operations and online.
- Understand the importance of inclusion, equality, and diversity.




- Provide information to students about taking care of their well-being and safety.
- Assist in the planning for and provision of support to students with disabilities and/or additional needs.

Selection Criteria

- Undergraduate Qualifications in business, marketing, or related discipline
- Knowledge of and experience in the support of international students, preferably in a higher education context
- Professional experience in marketing preferably in the international higher education sector
- An understanding of the needs of students
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing Higher Education in Australia, especially as these relate to international students
- A valuable understanding of how to respond to the needs of different stakeholders
- Experience in quality assurance, including the monitoring, reporting on, and improvement of services.
