About the role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll partner across the business to keep our HSEQ Management System practical, compliant and effective. In this role you will guide leaders, support project teams and turn HSEQ requirements into clear, practical action.

- Partner with leaders and project teams to embed practical HSEQ procedures, risk controls, SWMS and site safety plans.
- Coordinate inspections, observations, audits and corrective actions through to close-out.
- Keep HSEQ documents, registers, procedures and records current, accessible and audit-ready.
- Support ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits,



including evidence collection and action tracking.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Coordinate inductions, toolbox talks, safety alerts and HSEQ communications.
- Maintain training, licence, competency, plant, equipment, SDS and inspection registers.
- Support quality processes, defect management, non-conformance reporting and project close-out records.
- Prepare clear HSEQ reporting, dashboards and updates on risks, actions and performance.
- Act as Return to Work Coordinator, supporting safe and timely return to work outcomes.

What you Bring

- Certificate IV in WHS, or equivalent experience; further WHS, auditing or environmental qualifications are desirable.
- 3-5 years' HSEQ, WHS, compliance, quality or project safety experience in a project-based environment.
- Australian Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and construction safety requirements.
- Strong skills across risk assessments, SWMS, incidents, investigations, audits, claims and document control.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is desirable.
- Strong coordination, reporting and follow-up skills, with high attention to detail.
- Clear, confident communication with office, design, project and site-based teams.
- A proactive, practical approach with the confidence to influence, escalation risks and close out actions.
- Current driver licence and willingness to attend project sites as required.
- Partner with experienced leaders across design, construction and project delivery.
- Make a visible impact on safety culture, compliance, quality and continuous improvement.
- Work across a varied mix of office, studio and site environments.
- Contribute to practical systems, reporting and insights that support better decision-making.
