Position Title: Corporate Account Manager
Reports to: Head of Accounts
Direct Reports: NIL
Location: Sydney
Role Purpose:
The Corporate Account Manager manages Baidam’s corporate client portfolio with a focus on retention, repeat business and scalable growth, maintaining consistent account management practices across the designated patch.

- Build and maintain sustainable client partnerships by focusing on long-term retention, loyalty, and portfolio growth.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and account expansion to drive portfolio value and scalable growth.
- Prioritise time and effort according to client value and avoid over-investing in low-value clients and ensure high-value clients receive premium service.
- Work with leadership to build best practice and consistency in corporate account management.
- Safeguard commercial outcomes by managing margins effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate records for all accounts, and monitor for recurring issues, elevate and address these early with a solutions mindset.

Minimum Expectations
- Regularly review portfolio to decide which accounts need the most attention and allocate your time accordingly.
- Set up and stick to a routine schedule for checking in with clients, to keep the relationship active and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
- Tailor your level of service and communication to match each client’s needs and the complexity of their account.
- Evangelise Baidam capability beyond procurement
- Maintain up-to-date records on all accounts and ensure documentation is accurate and accessible.
- Monitor your accounts for recurring issues or patterns, such as repeated complaints or missed deadlines, and flag these with your manager or team early with a solutions mindset.

Commercial Performance
Minimum Expectations
- Review pricing for each account regularly and check that renewal proposals stick to agreed guidelines; follow up immediately on any inconsistencies or exceptions.
- Scan your portfolio to spot accounts where upsell or cross-sell could be relevant, and schedule calls or emails to discuss these offers with clients.
- Proactively update your manager or team with key client issues or feedback so you can adjust your approach or prioritisation.
- Update account forecasts and review accuracy against targets.
- Monitor performance dashboards and financial reports to spot emerging trends or risk across multiple accounts.
- Regularly review portfolio performance, identify underperforming accounts and take corrective action as needed.

- Collaborate effectively with all business units
- Commercial Acumen Monitor account margins and ensure all accounts are meeting profitability targets.
