About Food Solutions

Food Solutions Diet Consultants is a leading national provider of Dietetics and Speech Pathology services to Residential Aged Care and community clients. Since 2003, we’ve delivered high-quality, evidence-based care that enhances nutrition, hydration, communication, and swallowing safety for older Australians.

Our Speech Pathologists and Dietitians work closely together to support safe mealtimes, optimise resident outcomes, and meet the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

The role

We’re seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to support Residential Aged Care homes across the the Sunshine coast region in a full or part time capacity. You’ll have autonomy over your schedule (no weekends), report to our National Speech Pathology Manager, and collaborate within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

About you

You’re passionate about improving the safety, nutrition, and quality of life of older adults, and you:

- Manage dysphagia and adult communication needs with confidence (or are keen to develop these skills as a new graduate)

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility teams

- Organise your caseload and documentation efficiently

- Thrive working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

We welcome new graduates

You’ll receive structured induction, shadowing with Senior and Clinical Lead Speech Pathologists, ongoing supervision, and a gradual caseload ramp-up to ensure you feel confident and supported.

Essential

- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

- Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility)

- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- Commitment to ongoing professional development
