Securecorp is currently seeking motivated, professional, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our retail security team in Bankstown. We have opportunities available on aFull Time, Part Time, and Casual basis.

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in creating a secure and welcoming environment for customers, retailers, and staff. This position combines a strong security presence with exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience while protecting people, property, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct high-visibility foot patrols throughout the retail centre both internally and externally
- Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Provide a professional security presence and exceptional customer service
- Monitor access control and enforce site policies and procedures
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide directions or assistance as required
- Liaise with centre management,



retailers, emergency services, and contractors
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Identify and report hazards, suspicious behaviour, and security risks
- Assist in emergency evacuations and incident management when required

Skills & Experience

- Current NSW Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Previous retail security experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
