About the Role

Based from our Barney Point Depot, you'll be responsible for completing local and regional deliveries and pick-ups while ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

This role offers a 6:00 AM start, Monday to Friday, with overtime available as required.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Safely complete deliveries and pick-ups within scheduled timeframes.
- Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Restrain loads correctly using straps, chains and other approved load restraint equipment.
- Operate both manual and automatic MC vehicles.
- Follow all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and road transport legislation.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with depot operations.
- Report hazards,



near misses and incidents in accordance with Team Global Express procedures.
- Represent Team Global Express professionally while delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Bring

- Current MC (Multi Combination) Licence.
- Previous MC driving experience (2+ years preferred, but not essential).
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic heavy vehicles.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Understanding of load restraint and vehicle safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and customer focused.
- Ability to work overtime when required.

Please note: There is no permanent allocation of trucks for this position.
