Molonglo Support Services in Queanbeyan has been responding to people experiencing difficulties due to homelessness and domestic and family violence for over 45 years. Our vision is for everyone living in a secure and safe environment.

Molonglo is looking for an experienced, compassionate, motivated, and proactive part-time Case Manager with a strong work ethic to work at it’s Your Place Housing Support Service office. You will be employed under the SCHCAD’s award. Molonglo pays 30-minute lunch breaks, and PBI Salary Packaging is available.

Your Place Housing Support Service is a Specialist Homelessness Service providing support to individuals and families from a range of different situations who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Working from our Queanbeyan office, no two days are the same. The work is interesting, challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate will provide client-focused holistic case management assisting people who are experiencing social disadvantage using a strengths-based approach.

Duties

- crisis intervention
- preparation, implementation, and evaluation of case plans
- practical and emotional support and advocacy for the client, and their family
- coordination of services
- networking and liaising with other agencies and services




- writing case notes and administrative duties
- assisting clients into independence
- visiting clients in their homes or at the office
- assisting the coordinator with reporting
- and from time to time, you may organise and facilitate a focus group
- This is an in office, face-to-face role and does not include a work from home provision

A current driver’s licence and ability to provide a NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check are essential.
